摘要: The equilibrium adsorption of H2O on hydrogenated cobalt clusters is used to estimate the cluster–H2O binding energy. Magic numbers, corresponding with enhanced energy, are found for having one more metal atom than closed shells or subshells third Mackay icosahedron. It argued that a lone outside (sub)shell should have ability bind H2O, and such chemical probes can be provide useful information about cluster structure.
