Identification of core genes in ovarian cancer by an integrative meta-analysis.

摘要: Epithelial ovarian cancer is one of the most severe public health threats in women. Since it still challenging to screen early stages, identification core genes that play an essential role epithelial initiation and progression vital importance. Seven gene expression datasets (GSE6008, GSE18520, GSE26712, GSE27651, GSE29450, GSE36668, GSE52037) containing 396 samples 54 healthy control were analyzed identify significant differentially expressed (DEGs). We identified 563 DEGs, including 245 upregulated 318 downregulated genes. Enrichment analysis based on ontology (GO) functions Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathways showed significantly enriched cell division, cycle, tight junction, oocyte meiosis, while associated with response endogenous stimuli, complement coagulation cascades, cGMP-PKG signaling pathway, serotonergic synapse. Two modules from a protein-protein interaction network by using Molecular Complex Detection (MCODE) software.
