摘要: Susceptibility to pollution can be related the flushing capacity of aquatic systems. Transport time scales constitute a useful tool for representing water exchange and transport processes. A new scale, recovery time, methodology estimate it by means numerical models is hereby developed. Recovery calculated in Gijon, Santander Tarragona harbours, significantly physical, chemical biological quality indicators. Susceptibility, assessed through values, provides spatial patterns expected capacity, being sensitive physical hydrodynamic characteristics. The developed method appropriate assess susceptibility against littoral waters having great potential applied different disciplines. could used as surrogate indicators, establish efficient monitoring programs, define characterize modified bodies or improve design marine infrastructures.
