摘要: In this paper, presented is a new adaptive mode-switching mechanism for synchronous, self-oscillating, fully integrated CMOS dc-dc converter. The proposed employs current sensing technique to enable the automatic mode switching between CCM and DCM according level of load current, thus maintaining high conversion efficiency even though an application may change during normal operation. Moreover, programmable depending on applications. resulting dc converter up 92% while maximum peak-to peak output voltage ripple 18 mV ranges 50 mA 500 mA. operates at frequency from 250 3 MHz supply ranging 2.4 4.2 V. DC-DC was fabricated in TSMC 0.35-mum 2P4M process with die size 0.85 mm2. Except external inductor capacitor, all devices including power switches are chip.
