摘要: Kertas ini membincangkan beberapa aspek pengurusan paras air tanah untuk kegunaan tanaman ladang di kawasan sawah padi terbiar yang mempunyai cetek. Oleh sebab menjadi lebih penting kepada para petani sebagai sebahagian program mempelbagaikan tanaman, maka sokongan teknikal mengenai bagaimana sumber dapat dioptimumkan amat diperlukan. Satu kajian teoriteknikal berdasarkan model imbangan pada ruang akar dan kesannya terhadap penyusutan telah dilakukan. Keputusan pemodelan digunakan merancang kawalan sesuai ladang. Aplikasi praktikal ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan data tempatan. Kata kunci: Paras tanah, pengairan, ladang, air This study discusses some aspects of water table management for upland crops in the abandoned rice fields shallow field tables. As are gaining importance to farmers as part crop diversification programme, a technical support on how manage resources optimally plant growth would be extremely valuable. A theoretical investigation based soil–water balance root zone and draw–down is presented.
