摘要: It is known that some particulates and crystals stimulate the immune system to induce inflammatory responses. Nanometer- micrometer-sized crystal, sphere, hydrogel forms of aluminum salts (referred as “alum”) have been used vaccine adjuvants enhance antibody responses in animals humans. Conversely, several particulate pollutants, such diesel particles sand dust, pulmonary inflammation allergic asthma. In particular, most including alum silica type-2 vivo, which are characterized by accumulation eosinophils elevation serum immunoglobulin (Ig)E.
