摘要: Oxidative stress has a central role in the progression of diabetes mellitus (DM), which can directly result injury islet β cells and consequent hyperglycemia. The aim present study was to evaluate possible protective effects black bean peel extract (BBPE), pomegranate (PPE) combination two (PPE + BBPE) on streptozotocin-induced DM mice. assessed by levels total antioxidative capability glutathione serum. Fasting blood glucose insulin levels, as well pancreas weight index histological changes pancreas, were also determined. results showed that, after fours weeks treatment with PPE, BBPE or PPE BBPE, mice showed, different degrees, decrease glucose, increases secretion index, an increase activity. These particularly evident subjected combined intervention strategy BBPE. findings indicated that pancreatic islets ameliorated following treatment. In conclusion, two, have ability ameliorate hyperglycemia inhibiting oxidative stress-induced damage; this finding may be useful prevention DM.
