摘要: A study on the occurrence of coccidiosis and distribution Eimeria species in dead chickens 1–60 days age, at Kombolcha Poultry Multiplication Research Center (KPMRC), Ethiopia was conducted from November 2002 to April 2003. Out 965 birds, 370 (38.34%) were found have clinical coccidiosis. The identified this brunetti, E. tenella, acervulina necatrix with prevalence rates 45.3%, 40.8%, 9.7% 4.1%, respectively. In current study,E. brunetti reported for first time Ethiopia. It noted that coccidioisis more prevalent those between 5 6 weeks age. statistically significant difference (p<0.05) observed among different age groups studied. Various managerial problems are associated high appropriate control strategies recommended.
