摘要: Abstract We report on structures, magnetisms, and transport properties of two new barium ruthenates, 10H-type BaRuO3 Ba2Ru7O18. The crystal structure 10H-BaRuO3 consists face-shared dimers trimers RuO6 octahedra. magnetic susceptibility is 7.7×10−4 emu/mol at RT. interpret its very weak temperature dependence as Pauli paramagnetism enhanced by electron correlations. resistivity 8.5×10−2 Ω cm 296 K. slope the R versus T curve negative in whole temperature. It indicates metallic or semi-metallic electronic states. Ba2Ru7O18 composed edge-shared tetramers 3.7×10−4 emu/mol Ru Its almost temperature-independent character also explained terms 6.7×10−4 Ω cm In this case, positive, linear to T1.2 below 25 K. This shows a large deviation from Fermi-liquid criterion.
