摘要: The antifungal protein (AFP) produced by Aspergillus giganteus, encoded the afp gene, has been used to confer resistance against a broad range of fungal pathogens in several crops. In this research, transgenic olive plants expressing gene under control constitutive promoter CaMV35S were generated and their disease response two root infecting pathogens, Verticillium dahliae Rosellinia necatrix, was evaluated. Embryogenic cultures derived from mature zygotic embryo cv. 'Picual' for A. tumefaciens transformation. Five independent lines obtained, showing variable level expression leaves roots. None these showed enhanced wilt. However, some displayed degree incomplete white rot caused R. necatrix compared with reaction non-transformed or only GUS gene. pathogen correlated that leaves. Our results indicate can be useful partial olive, but does not protect V. dahliae.
