摘要: Impingement syndrome is a common ailment of the shoulder, particularly in individuals who perform repetitive overhead activities, such as athletes and laborers. Patients typically report progressive shoulder pain often exacerbated by flexion abduction may demonstrate classic painful arc motion. This article describes case 45-year-old man with signs symptoms consistent impingement syndrome. Workup revealed well-circumscribed, homogeneous lesion within supraspinatus muscle on magnetic resonance imaging. The patient underwent uncomplicated marginal excision mass final diagnosis benign lipoma. Lipomas represent one most soft tissue tumors, although there are no reports an intramuscular supraspinatous lipoma causing In our case, were findings history, physical examination, or radiographs that would place neoplasm high differential. Magnetic imaging provided crucial information necessary to narrow differential formulate preoperative plan. Marginal resection was curative this patient, he remained free regained excellent motion postoperatively.
