摘要: Flame surface density (FSD) based reaction rate closure is an important methodology of turbulent premixed flame modelling in the context Large Eddy Simulations (LES). The transport equation for Favre-filtered progress variable needs filtered diffusion imbalance (FRDI) term (i.e. value combined and molecular rate) sub-grid scalar flux (SGSF). A-priori analysis FRDI SGSF terms has past revealed advantages disadvantages specific attempts. However, it to understand interaction closures a successful implementation FSD closure. Furthermore, not known a-priori if combination best model with results most suitable overall strategy. In order address this question, variety models analysed work together one well established recent on analysis. It found that success depends subtle details like co-variances terms. demonstrated gradient hypothesis very representing term. However provides satisfactory performance recently proposed closure, whereas unsatisfactory are obtained when used another existing which was shown predict satisfactorily several previous analyses.
