摘要: Massive open online courses (MOOCs) are a recent trend in the field of learning. Their potential distinctive educational innovation is attributed mainly to their “Massiveness” and “Openness” dimensions. These two characteristics introduce new design considerations for accommodating challenging demands “Openness.” This particularly pressing, since commonly recognized “shortcomings” MOOCs, such as high participant drop-out rates low levels engagement motivation, have been associated MOOCs. Within this context, chapter discusses issues related with MOOCs emphasis cultural motivational issues, presents an analysis existing frameworks and/or guidelines and, finally, proposes ADDIE-based framework (EDCF) which incorporate requirements.
