摘要: An x-ray source utilizing anode material which shifts the output spectrum to higher energy and thereby obtains penetrating ability for screening mammography application, than currently utilized material. The used (molybdenum) produces an of 17.5/19.6 keV, using this invention (e.g. silver, rhodium, tungsten) would be in 20-35 keV region. Thus, provides imaging breasts with average opacity without increase radiation dose, thus reduces risk induced breast cancer due dose administered mammograms.
