摘要: A co-extruder with three separate barrels operated by a single ram has been designed to produce trilayer tubes semi-continuously. vital step in the design was predict pressure required generate sufficiently high extrudate velocity while being able retain integrity. physically based model used drops co-extrusion process at different extrusion velocities for five pastes rheological characteristics. In general, predicted and measured values were good agreement. Other important aspects design, such as matching of flow streams are also highlighted. Trilayer ceramic successfully produced from co-extruder.
