摘要: Alligator weed, Alternanthera philoxeroides (Mart.) Griseb., is one of the worst invasive weeds in world. In present study, genome size seven forms/biotypes alligator weed from Argentina (native area), USA (introduced and China area) was analyzed using flow cytometers; ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacer region (ITS) cloned sequenced. We found that A. ranged 5.72 to 8.50 pg/2C nucleus, consisting four levels three kinds ploidy. Among them, two (tetraploid hexaploid) were samples Argentina, kind (pentaploid) US samples, level (hexaploid) China. Contrary significant variation size, we intraspecific differentiation ITS sequences extremely low, six them shared with no or single substitution. These results show change played a major role philoxeroides, higher ploidy seem have stronger ability. Furthermore, differences between showed these invaded areas certainly different native progenitors.
