摘要: Self-assembled arrays of hemispherical gallium nanoparticles deposited by molecular beam epitaxy on a sapphire support are explored as new type substrate for ultraviolet plasmonics. Spin-casting 5 nm film crystal violet upon these permitted the demonstration surface-enhanced Raman spectra, fluorescence, and degradation following excitation HeCd laser operating at 325 nm. Measured local enhancement factors exceeding 107 demonstrate potential nanoparticle plasmonically enhanced detection remediation.
