摘要: Abstract In this work Linear Response Equilibrium (LRE) and Echo-planar spectroscopic imaging (EPSI) are compared in terms of sensitivity per unit time power deposition. addition an extended dual repetition scheme to generate broad stopbands for improved inherent water suppression LRE is presented. The feasibility EPSI assessing cholesterol esters human carotid plaques with high spatial resolution 1.95 × 1.15 × 1.15 mm 3 on a clinical 3T MR system demonstrated. simulations phantom experiments it shown that has comparable but lower relative despite stronger signal generated. This relates the sampling efficiency as result limited gradient performance systems. At same time, deposition significantly reduced making interesting niche application vivo field metabolites within bandwidth.
