摘要: Three-wave parametric instabilities, in which an incident, laser-light wave resonantly decays into two decay waves, have long been recognized to potentially play a large role the physics of laser-produced plasmas. Many effects predicted, but only gradually and with difficulty experiments developed ability observe some them. One obstacle has that behavior instabilities often depends upon scale length planarity plasma. My collaborators I worked for several years overcome this specific when necessary now work routinely plasmas are thousands laser wavelengths axial transverse lengths plasma parameters. This allowed us report first observations study scaling as well.
