摘要: Abstract Agglomerate formation in fluidized drum granulation was studied experimentally using a 0.3 m diameter laboratory granular. Glass ballotini of various sizes were coated molten paraffin wax. The effect particle size (1.5 to 8 mm), liquid spray rate (17 43 g/min) and speed (20 40 rpm) on the fraction agglomerates formed measured. controlled by collisions between wetted granules falling curtain or near zone. There is sharp transition high fractions (non-inertial regime) almost no (coating as increases. This point increases strongly with increasing but only slight function speed. These results agree, qualitatively quantitatively, regime analysis proposed Ennis.
