摘要: Abstract The ability to identify drought-resistant lines in all seasons would accelerate variety introduction. A total of 202 backcross-inbred rice were subjected drought during the 2006 and 2007 dry at AfricaRice Benin. Two irrigation regimes applied: fully irrigated maturity 21 days from 45 after sowing. Plants harvested maturity. Increased canopy temperature under as compared condition was observed. Delays observed plant flowering maturity, with susceptibility index reaching 26.8 for flowering. Plant leaves greener (2.9% increase) than when irrigated. Drought negatively affected tiller number, height, number leaves, leaf width grain yield (16.9%, 13.7%, 6.7%, 14.1% 26.7% respective reductions). Highly significant ( P  ≤ 0.01) correlations between traits measured conditions r 0.52 0.92), except greenness (SPAD),  = 0.42 ns, −0.03 ns −0.30**, respectively). study identified temperature, SPAD, height possible that best correlated yield. performance these a function line.
