摘要: Abstract The pupae of Indian paper wasp, Ropalidia marginata, produce silk that covers the opening each cells in their hives, which probably helps thermoregulation and providing mechanical stability. In this study an attempt has been made to investigate amino acid composition protein structure wasp using bioinformatics experimental tools. analysis regenerated solubilized revealed high alanine serine content increases propensity α-helical random coil and/or β-sheet respectively. Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization-Time Of Flight/Time Flight based fingerprinting its short-range sequences. modeling studies indicated presence predominant coiled isolated from hive caps, similar previous reports Vespoidea family. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic X-ray diffraction native cap mix α-helix outer regions; whereas inner region contains tannin/intermolecularly bonded hydroxyl groups polyphenols. present is first report generate valuable insights about chemical secondary prediction highlight on nature's novel modus operandi engineer unique functional fibrous matrix.
