The aim of the Active Networking today effort is to design, develop and implement new communication architectures that allow rapid, safe dependable creation, reconfiguration, deployment advanced networking services, protocols management components. paradigm achieves this goal through concepts (1) self-directing data units called Capsule or Smart Packets, (2) Open Programmable Nodes. conjunction these will ultimately result into networks with greatly improved services meet user requirements efficiently securely. This paper reviews evaluates two major Networking, well-known Node Transport System (ANTS) SwitchWare framework. We discuss differences between platforms, feedbacks from practical experiences.
