摘要: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze the interactions among different enablers agile manufacturing system (AMS). The existing available in past literature are scattered not able meet specific requirements customers. So, it becomes a necessity encapsulate these appropriate proportions enable traditional organizations AMS. To fill gap total interpretive structural modeling (TISM) MICMAC analysis-based framework model have been developed understand mutual between enablers. Design/methodology/approach Identification followed by application TISM, which an innovative version ISM analysis, used study identified enablers. Findings The result reveals that top management support, organizational structure information technology integration strong driving power weak dependence at lowest level TISM hierarchy, while outcome AMS low-driving but high-dependence power. Research limitations/implications This on basis inputs from few experts may reflect opinion whole industry community. Practical implications Top must stress having for efficient implementation Managers area drive useful insights empirical presented paper. should plan effective strategy proper makes organization more agile, productive, competitive profitable. Originality/value TISM-based has proposed or new effort
