Data assessed using both a multiple time point cross-section wave longitudinal design. Hierarchal linear regression suggested that when assessing direct effects being, affection is better predictor but indirect effects, conflict predictor. Little evidence was found to support idea siblings moderate by buffering or decreasing stress. Results did indicate salient moderator exacerbates already from this also suggest exacerbating siblings, cross-sectional data produces explanatory power than these constructs are longitudinally. However point, design does not account for dynamic changes over either relationship, level Research designs such as time, studies growth curve analyses recommended.
