摘要: The response to breathing 12 per cent oxygen by newborn premature and full-term infants several weeks old has been studied. Comparisons show that during the first days after birth failed respond with increases in respiratory rate or tidal volume hypoxic state. In fact, there was some decrease ventilation which largely related reductions volume. Premature old, on other hand, showed an immediate significant hyperpnea while oxygen. younger infants, particularly seemed be less disturbed hypoxia than older infants. These results substantiated previous obtained hypothesis advanced chemoreceptor reflexes were active immediately following later life.
