摘要: The end-group mean square displacement, molecular reorientation time, and radius of gyration entangled λ-phage DNA molecules were measured with fluorescence microscopy. A frequency- dependent, complex diffusivity is derived by Fourier transformation the displacement. From a comparison diffusion moduli predictions Doi−Edwards theory, tube renewal step length, end-to-end distance, Rouse relaxation entanglement time are obtained. from orientation correlation tensor. concentration dependencies renewal, reorientation, as well number entanglements per molecule agree relevant scaling laws for salted polyelectrolytes screened electrostatics. Furthermore, similarity in scale brings into view coupled translational reorientational motion regime.
