摘要: PURPOSE: To investigate differences in quantitative autofluorescence (qAF) imaging measurements between eyes with and without large drusen, whether qAF change over time the drusen. METHODS: Eighty-five from participants bilateral drusen 51 healthy underwent at least once, age-related macular degeneration were reviewed 6-monthly. Normalized grey values 9° to 11° eccentricity fovea averaged provide a summary measure of (termed qAF8). RESULTS: In multivariable model, qAF8 not significantly different (P = 0.130), showed decline 0.013). CONCLUSION: These findings add body evidence that levels are increased compared eyes, show significant eyes. highlight how relationship retinal pigment epithelium health does seem be straightforward. Further investigation is required better understand this relationship, especially if used as an outcome intervention trials.
