摘要: Post-translational modification by ubiquitin is best known for its role in targeting substrates regulated degradation. However, non-proteolytic functions of the system, often involving either monoubiquitylation or polyubiquitylation through Lys63-linked chains, have emerged various cell signalling pathways. These two forms signal contribute to three different pathways related maintenance genome integrity that are responsible processing DNA double-strand breaks, repair interstrand cross links and bypass lesions during replication.
