摘要: Abstract In this research, microstructure and wear behavior of Ni-based alloy is discussed in detail. Using tungsten inert gas welding process, coating nearly 1–2 mm thickness was deposited on ductile iron. Optical scanning electron microscopy, as well X-ray diffraction analysis probe microanalysis were used to characterize the surface alloyed layer. Micro-hardness resistance layer also studied. Results showed that consisted M23C6 carbides embedded Ni-rich solid solution dendrites. The partial melted zone (PMZ) had eutectic ledeburit plus martensite microstructure, while heat affected (HAZ) only a structure. It noticed hardness considerably higher than substrate. Improvement attributed strengthening effect alloying elements presence hard such M23C6. Based worn analysis, dominant mechanisms found be oxidation delamination.
