摘要: As a consequence for the irrational exploiting of marine resources, their contamination produced by persistent anthropogenic activity and effects climate changes, nowadays there is great concern about environmental sustainability aquaculture practices seafood quality. Actual regulations ensure that food resources are exploited in rational way that, accordingly, hazards adequately monitored both at chain level. Proteomics allows identification biomarkers on many biological matrices wide range general applications ecotoxicity science. In present work proteomic approach has adopted study mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis , which most important resource Sardinia, different rearing environments, with aim accomplishing systematic characterization its foot muscle proteome, gathering insights protein expression variability may be correlated to growth factors. Lastly, also application proteomics development biosensors monitor toxicant aquatic environments control seafood-related risks been reviewed.
