摘要: Background: Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) is a rapidly progressive disease associated with high mortality in developing countries. The patients are managed for mastitis’s first and IBC becomes diagnosis of exclusion after failed response to appropriate antibiotic therapy. This study was aimed at evaluating the outcome management North central Nigeria. Patients method: prospective analysis consecutive presenting Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University teaching hospital Bauchi (ATBUTH) from January 2011 December 2012. Results: A total 52 cancers were managed, mean age 31+/- 2years an range 29 -33 years. There 51 females 1male (m: f = 51:1) accounting 9(17.3 %) them. Conclusion: frequently misdiagnosed as mastitis various reasons index suspicion required clinch diagnosis.
