摘要: Background: The presence of potentially active nutrients and their multifunctional properties make prickly pear a perfect candidate for the production phytopharmaceutical products. Among numerous Opuntia species, bioactive compounds have been isolated characterized primarily from ficus-indica, polycantha, stricta, dilleni various medicinal properties. Objective: Based on traditional use enhancement immune function, objective present study to evaluate effect mast cell degranulation function. Materials Methods: fruit juice (OFJ) (10-200 μl/ml) were studied sensitized rat peritoneal induced by immunological (egg albumin), nonimmunological (compound 48/80) stimuli compared with that reference standard, sodium cromoglycate ketotifen (10 μg/ml). Results Conclusion: OFJ exhibited significantly ( P 50 value was found 12.24 18 μl/ml degranulation, respectively. betacyanin is an principle compound in may responsible stabilizing action.
