摘要: This letter proposes a new approach to enhance the performance of optical time domain reflectometry (OTDR). employs probe signal modulated in quaternary frequency-shift-keying (FSK) format and coherent detection technique. Experiments show that proposed reduces measurement one fourth without sacrificing dynamic range spatial resolution on 1100-km-long transmission line with amplifiers. >
