摘要: Abstract The gonads (ovary, testis) produce gametes (oocytes and spermatozoa). pituitary glycoprotein hormones luteinizing hormone (LH, lutropin) follicle-stimulating (FSH, follitropin) are gonadotropins because their targets the gonads. Another produced by syncytiotrophoblast of human placenta is chorionic gonadotropin (hCG, choriogonadotropin), its activity like LH. This review describes protein structure, gene regulation biosynthesis both membrane bound receptors. functions receptors covered extensively, as well naturally occurring mutations that have been identified in disease states therapies derived from study.
