摘要: A cored, molded structural member comprises a core having plurality of cells between major faces - honeycomb and substantially seamless covering moldable plastic material which expands while it sets which, when set, is rigid. Foamable polyurethane particularly contemplated. At least some the are adapted to have gas communication with other, adjacent pressure and/or air within cell rises. The formed in mold entirely closed tight so as preclude flow or outwardly from cavity during molding operation. Spacers may be used space away cavity, keep shifting sets. Pressure relief pressurized usually provided before opened, by making one more channels through core.
