摘要: The present contribution is a part of the work towards framework for holistic modeling composites manufacturing. Here we focus our attention onto particular problem coupled dual-scale deformation–flow process such as one arising in RTM, Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion (VARI) and Bag Only (VBO) prepregs. formulation considers coupling effects between macro-scale preform processes meso-scale ply well solid fluid phases. comprises nonlinear compressible fiber network saturated with incompressible phase. Internal variables are introduced terms compressibility to describe irreversible mesoscopic infiltration reversible compaction processes. As main result displacement–pressure, geometrically nonlinear, finite element simulation tool developed. paper concluded numerical example, where relaxation–compression test planar filled VBO at globally un-drained partly drained conditions considered.
