Voltage quality improvement by a dynamic voltage restorer based on a direct three-phase converter with fictitious DC link

摘要: In this study, a new topology for three-phase dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) has been proposed. The proposed uses direct to converter with fictitious DC link compensate the balanced and unbalanced sags/swells flickers. used in structure of DVR two inverter rectifier parts an intermediate link. is directly connected grid takes required compensation power from grid. As result, capacitor energy-storage elements have eliminated topology. Therefore can be accomplished any long time interval. This less volume, weight cost owing elimination energy storage elements. Unlike other AC/AC converter-based topologies, unidirectional switches instead bidirectional switches, which results reduction number switching devices. computer simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC software laboratory-scale experimental prototype verify capabilities disturbances compensation.
