摘要: Climate change is a growing threat to the world's poorest and most vulnerable living in rural areas. The impacts of climate challenge efforts reducing poverty hence, will require new approaches focus development programming on changing realities world. Understanding how affect people, their knowledge experience coping with it assist identifying appropriate strategies for adaptation it. This paper thus examined livelihoods communities Upper West region Ghana challenges posed at area. Discussions vulnerability variability issues this focused evidence observed by 10 Lawra District. Adopting qualitative approach, ten group discussions were organized gather data. Specific discussed surrounded communities, its impacts, underlying causes employed community members. Based discussions, recommends need develop intensify effective institutional mechanisms facilitate measures, awareness raising (creation) anti-environments practices institution bye customary laws regulate human anti-environmental activities, implementation projects aid cope major district world large.
