摘要: Abstract The traditional office diagnosis of prostatitis has been based on clinical history, rectal palpation the gland, and a microscopic examination expressed prostatic fluid. In light present day information this approach appears to be incomplete. We have examined 41 consecutive patients with complaints along 17 controls. each case fluid was collected under sterile conditions. On specimen, we performed bacterial culture, for white blood cells, assay zinc. intent protocol classify clearly those from nonbacterial prostatodynia. believe is simple perform even in setting busy practice.
