摘要: The effect of a single application phosphorus (P) fertilizer on yields wheat and following lentil crop was studied in two-course rotational trials under rainfed conditions Mediterranean-type environment. Wheat grown during the 1984/85 1985/86 growing seasons at three sites north-west Syria, with P applied rates 0, 17.5, 35.0 52.5 kg ha−1. Lentil (Lens culinaris Med.) 1986/87 same sites, crops. During season, no additional to crop. crops two order compare residual direct effects application. Initial contents extractable soil (P-Olsen) were low all sites: range 2–5 ppm. response described by modified Mitscherlich equation accounting for rainfall potential yield (under conditions) availability Under experiments, benefited significantly from preceding It concluded that wheat-lentil rotation would reduce cost production without reducing yields.
