摘要: Abstract Laminar diluted hydrogen flames have been studied in a counterflow burner. Measurements were made of profiles temperature and [NO], which are compared with predictions from numerical computations. A constant strain rate 100 s −1 was used every experiment. The stream the inerts N 2 , CO He. Besides diffusion flames, fuel streams partially premixed to equivalence ratios 2.7 3.9. There is evidence that, for these degrees premixing, attached exit duct there rich flame, whose hot products burn flame close stagnation plane. Differences between influences various diluents discussed terms differences heat capacities, thermal-radiative properties, effects on chemical reactions. Maximum measured temperatures varied 1830 2170 K, [NO] ranged 3.6 21.5 ppm. Numerical show good agreement experiments both at lower temperatures. At higher temperatures, predicted exceeds its value, difference being attributed probe effects.
