摘要: Abstract The lattice-Boltzmann method is a technique for simulating the time-dependent motions of simple fluid. Introducing rigid particles and imposing correct boundary conditions at solid/fluid interface allows many-body, hydrodynamic interactions between to be computed. Rather than truly solid particles, computationally convenient doing this uses hollow objects filled with model We propose modification “internal fluid” method. For computational convenience our keeps fluid inside object. Its behaviour modified, however, in such way that it does not perturb dynamics particle. equations motion are then modified microscopic conservation laws mass momentum satisfied. Comparing both (rotational translational) an isolated spherical particle viscosity concentrated suspension hard spheres against known results we examine artifacts attributable “internal” Using approach, show these no longer present recovered.
