摘要: We grew high-quality single crystals of NpAl 4 , together with UAl by the Al-flux method and measured electrical resistivity, specific heat, magnetic susceptibility, magnetization de Haas–van Alphen (dHvA) effect. is an antiferromagnet Neel temperature T N =49 K. The corresponding moment most likely directed along [010] direction in orthorhombic crystal structure. large entropy at Curie–Weiss behavior suggest localized nature 5 f -electrons configuration. detected dHvA frequencies are small, indicating that small Brillouin zone formed antiferromagnetic state. On other hand, Fermi surfaces observed a paramagnet . cyclotron mass relatively large, ranging from 3.4 to 23 m 0 which consistent electronic heat coefficient γ= 89 mJ/(K 2 ·mol).
