摘要: Azeolite ZSM-5 catalyzed simple, one-pot solvent-free, cost-effective and environmental benign protocol for the synthesis of dihydropyrimidines (DHPMs) have been developed. Aseries substituted 1,4-DHPM derivatives synthesized by Biginelli type cyclocondensation ethylacetoacetate, aromatic/heteroaromatic aldehydes, urea/thiourea with a catalytic amount zeolite under solvent-free in sufficiently high yield. The catalyst is recyclable can be used repeatedly.
