摘要: A system and method is provided for autonomous monitoring of items by smart peg devices. On occurrence a predetermined event, device analyzes sensor data received from set sensors associated with items. The includes weight and/or proximity sensor. determines status the based on analyzed criteria. may include number given peg, item(s), location item(s) peg. controller whether to send notification status. If needed, outputs remote computing device. determined recommended corrective action.
