摘要: The effects of salmon calcitonin and clodronate were compared in ovariectomised rats. Sixty female Wistar rats (∼260 g weight) fed the same diet had living conditions. divided into following groups: 15 with sham ovariectomy no drug treatment (Sham-OVX); 45 bilateral subdivided not receiving (OVX group), treated subcutaneous calcitonin, 2 U/kg/day every days + CT group) clodronate, 5 mg/kg/day Cl group). after surgery, sacrificed their femurs fifth lumbar vertebrae dissected cleaned soft tissue. Femur length, vertebral height, bone mineral content density femur vertebra by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry measured. Calcitonin a significant stronger effect preventing ovariectomy-induced osteopenia vs OVX groups, p<0.0001); both on vertebra, which was greater group p<0.005). These findings indicate that has protective axial (trabecular bone) peripheral (cortical skeletons, but only skeleton.
