摘要: In light of Delahanty et al.'s (1997) identification attribution responsibility for a motor vehicle accident (MVA) as powerful determinant initial level distress from the trauma and early remission PTSD, we reexamined data Blanchard Hickling's prospective follow-up 158 MVA survivors. Despite differences between two samples (Delahanty sample recruited hospitals 2–3 weeks post-MVA predominantly male; our outpatient care 1–4 months female) replicated Delahanty's findings: those with PTSD who blame themselves are less symptomatic initially recover more rapidly in first 6 than another party accident.
