摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine factors contributing the ethnic discrepancies in breast cancer survival described previously. Through use Hawaii Tumor Registry and insurance claims data, 1,052 patients' times were examined relation demographics, disease characteristics, comorbidity, treatment patterns as compared national guidelines for treatment. In stepwise hierarchical Cox regression models, TNM stage strongest predictor explained all differences. addition, comorbidity significant predicting survival. population health plan members, differences not a result differential treatment, but due variations early detection. These results support hypothesis that pre-existing conditions are related even after controlling at diagnosis indicating usefulness data research field.
