摘要: Weather is an important factor for air quality. While there have been increasing attentions to long-term (monthly and seasonal) pollution such as regional hazes from land-clearing fires during El Nino, the weather-air quality relationships are much less understood at than short-term (daily weekly) scales. This study aimed fill this gap through analyzing correlations between meteorological variables various timescales. A correlation scale was defined measure longest time with significant a substantial large number of sites. The index (API) five 2001–2012 40 eastern China sites were used. results indicate that API correlated precipitation negatively temperature positively across China, wind, relative humidity pressure spatially varied signs. major areas vary variables. not only but also scales, different two types concurrent scales reach seasonal p < 0.05 monthly p < 0.001 wind speed p < 0.01 humidity. Precipitation, which found be most variable conditions, lagged smaller in magnitude their correction long term It concluded should considered primary predictor statistical prediction region over China. Relative useful predictors levels.
